Help me find this book!!!!! please!?

in 2005 i started to read some of this book i found at walmart. i never bought it for myself(which i'm kicking myself for). i can't remember the title or author. what i do remember is that it was about a man going thru drug rehab. it was a very gruesome tale, very explicit in detail. it was also printed a very interesting way on the inside. it started with him almost dying and then ending up at the rehab center. it was written by a man, it was paper back blue book with a very simple title. i'm pretty sure it was non fiction, but i could be wrong. please if you have ANY ideas send them to me. thanks so much!!!
