How to do 'astral projection'?

I've done astral projection only one time that I was aware of, and it was because my blood sugar level was low and I had an intense desire to be in the place I was projecting myself to in the Oklahoma panhandle instead of where my body was in a suburb of Greater New Orleans. Other than insulin and blood pressure medication, I've never taken any drugs, legal or illegal. Whatever psychic abilities i have are a product of hormone interaction. How could I have had an accurate precognitive dream when I was 14 or 15 years old in 1987 or 1968 about exactly how the objects were positioned in the second bedroom of an apartment I would not rent until September, 1998 if psychic abilities are impossible. Until I realized WHY I was so afraid of going into that back bedroom to clean it out after a fatal fire in the apartment next door that I shared a wall with, that killed three children and an adult, until I remembered that dream, which had exactly the same angles of sunlight coming through west facing master bedroom window of the apartment in both the dream and reality, I had a very difficult time even going into that back bedroom. No one has been able to explain how any one could have such an accurate precognitive dream 30 years before the actual event happened so far.
