How would I go about a Federal Appeal to the prohibition of marijuana?(on a federal level)(recreational)?
Please, people tell me when laws were based on financial income. Then tell me when laws were based on morale standard and logicality. Well, if you didn't guess it, accordingly laws today are based on what can benefit the government financially, and not what benefits the people socially or for that matter economically. Well, considering the fact that we are individuals, and our individual opinions is what sets us apart from animals, in turn the majority opinions is what we now call "laws". Truthfully, I as well as many others, believe that it is not only morally incorrect, but logically incorrect to claim that the group society has labeled as alcoholics is above the group society has labeled as pot heads. Don't understand? Let me explain. What is the stereotypical view of an "alcoholic"? Some type of aultive behavior(ually, verbally, physically, ect.) What is the stereotypical view of a "pothead"? I'm sure you've all seen the above the influence commercial, what are they doing in that commercial? I don't believe they are raping women, or abusing children. I believe they are sitting on a couch watching television. And why is this the stereotypical view of a so called "pothead", because this is precisely what they do. After all that said, you may ask yourself why? Why has the government repealed the 18th amendment, with the 21st., but not the prohibition against marijuana? Well, unlike the united states government, i will be grateful to provide you with an answer. Around the time of the 18th amendment almost 60% of United States citizens, could be clified as modern day alcoholics, when they enacted this amendment there was hysteria, because there were so many people who indulged themselves in these intoxicating liquors. All the while, we the quite marijuana smokers stood by and allowed this to unfold. Again, the stereotypical views show themselves(the aggressive alcoholic, and the inactive marijuana smoker). Now please tell me why marijuana is illegal at a federal level in this day in age, where we the people believe in so called "freedom". With all that said, how would i go about a federal appeal to the prohibition of marijuana, as well as marijuana's legalization for recreational purposes, and taxation? Thanks..
