If you think something is racially insenstive, should you bring it up or avoid conflict?
I think that these kinds of things can only be solved through discussion and openness. It is ignorance that breeds racial insensitivity. Most people are good people and if something was offensive, then bring it up, and then the person will no longer be ignorant of what they did or said. They might be unaware that what they said was insensitive, you should not avoid it or else it will just make you resentful, and the person might not even have a chance to become a better person through some enlightenment.
