You are correct that these are prophesies. I do not believe that this was organized to fit just because somebody wanted it to. I a person was to go to Rome and visit the ancient museum library and go to the place in which the Sanhedrin doents are kept, you will find that all things actually are true about Jesus. They kept court records and various materials on all those things. I think the only difference was that at that time in history the Jews were seeking a man that would over rule the king and take over for the Jews, when in reality this was not even what Adonai had said.
