How can I change my room to my style?

I don't really want to paint the walls for now because that would be just too much work and I am always busy. My room right now is kind of like a beachy theme... my walls are two different tones of orange, and I have a lot of things with sea shells and stuff. My furniture is like an ivory color and it is kind of antique looking with flowers painted on some of them. I am a very beachy, hippie, bohemian person... I really want to represent the hippie bohemian side of me also in my room, but I don't know how I can incorporate it with a beachy theme. I was thinking of getting like a purple comforter(?) and maybe purple curtains..... the only thing I'm concerned about is would purple look okay with light furniture?? ANy other ideas?
