What does this mean form Archimedes?
Archimedes of Syracuse (287 BCE-212BCE) was a Greek mathematician, inventor, and physicist. A physicist is someone who studies how the universe behaves by observing fores and motion. Archimedes invented a wide variety of machine including pulleys and the Archimdean screw pumping device, which transfers water from low places to higher places. He also experimented with levers and explained how they work. There a quote you guys could maybe help me answer from Archimedes "Give me a place to stand and a lever of sufficient length, and I will lift the earth".
