What was america's reaction to Hitler's final solution?
If by the "final solution", you meant the extermination of the Jews, you might be surprised to learn that Americans didn't know about the death camps until the war was nearly over. My brother and his Lieutenant were searching, ahead of the troops, trying to find a place to set up the next camp when they stumbled upon a concentration camp. Most of the German guards had fled, knowing Patton's army was close, but my brother said they couldn't believe what they were seeing. There is much more to say about that, but Americans at home heard nothing about those death camps until very late in the war. I believe we did do A, B & D.
