Witnessed a car crash?

Why don't you just call the local police department that handled the crash and tell them that you witnessed the accident. It would seem to me that somebody would want to get to the bottom of what lead up to and the cause of the accident. Unless it was a cops daughter and she was DWI and they just want to cover it up. You could pretend that you are calling out of concern for the young girl.
